Description

Sole Paint thoroughly cleanses the underside of a horse’s foot. The powerful active ingredients work on the underside of the foot, toughen the hoof and support the natural growth of healthy frog tissue.

Sole Paint is a thick liquid that can be painted on for convenience and excellent coverage. Its thick consistency helps it penetrate into the deeper grooves of the foot.

Sole Paint is recommended for stubborn foot odour and discolouration, it also helps toughen weak horn tissues.

Instructions

Shake well before use as product may separate. Pick out and clean feet if necessary. Apply paint directly to the sole then spread evenly with a hoof brush over the sole, frog and into the lateral grooves. Re-apply as necessary or when feet are picked out. Once improvement is shown, re-apply weekly to keep soles healthy and strong.

FAQs

How should I apply Sole Paint?

Sole Paint can be squirted onto the sole and spread with a brush however some people prefer to decant some into a wider mouthed container and dip the brush into it.

My Sole Paint seems to have separated, is it OK to use?

Due to the natural ingredients in Sole Paint it can sometimes separate but a vigorous shake should mix it again.

My Horse is part stabled and part field kept, should I be using Field Paste or Sole Paint?

It really depends if you prefer the consistency of a paint on or a smear on product, Field Paste is slightly more powerful but bedding is more likely to stick to it. If in doubt we usually suggest a thin layer of Field Paste as it is somewhat more powerful.

Should I be using Field Paste, Sole Paint or Sole Cleanse?

For mild issues regular use of Sole Cleanse is advised, once problems are cleared up this is easy to apply and inexpensive to use as a preventative. For more severe cases or where regular use is not possible use Field Paste in turned out horses and Sole Paint in stabled horses or in drier weather outside. If you are unsure or your horse is stabled and at grass you are best to use a thin layer of Field Paste.
