These boots quite literally saved my beloved horse's life. Clover is my homebred mare, 27 next month, has Cushings and some arthritis. I retired her last year, but she suffered a laminitic attack and had been turned out in the arena for 8 weeks. She was clearly still in pain, despite an increase to 4 Danilon sachets per day and 30 paracetamol. The vet was booked to put her to sleep.
Alex from Trelowen Farm Livery suggested I try Equine Fusion boots as a last resort and put me in touch with Liz from the Hoof Bootique. She was incredibly helpful, sorting out what she thought we needed. The boots and pads arrived the following day.
Within minutes of putting them on, Clover had undone her rope (always a sign that she is feeling ok) and walked off her rubber mats, across the concrete, to some grass. Her first steps were very tentative, as if expecting pain but she got more confident with every step. I cancelled the vet.
Now, 2 weeks later, she is turned out in a field on only one Danilon a day. She walks out happily looking very comfortable. I am absolutely delighted.
I recently bought a pair of flex horse boots. The support from hoof bootique was out outstanding. It took several weeks to go through the process of choosing the boots to try in the fit kit to then choosing the flex boots. However it was all very much worth taking the time as these boots are an excellent fit and quality. We've ridden through sand, mud and water and jumped out hacking. They've not moved or rubbed and our pony loves them.
I purchased a pair of these for my horses front feet last year and I was really impressed with the difference they made to my horse! After moving to a new yard and hacking on stoney areas, I found that my horse was still footy on his backs so I decided to purchase another pair for his back feet so now he has a full set and again they have been a game changer, my horse is so much happier out hacking with them on. I have even recommended these boots and this company to a friend. I would also like to give a shout out to Cat who helped me with my first purchase and helped me again when buying the second pair. I cannot fault their customer service. I highly recommend!
Had lots of help with deciding best choice with advice of considerations of hoof shape, uses & possible boot choices, then samples being sent. Scoots were chosen. Absolutely brilliant choice. I have worked with Hoof Bootique for some years now and find them incredible helpful. We have bought numerous pairs over a period of years for the rescue Shetlands I have and they make the whole process so easy. I take photos and email them then we communicate from there and it works. Good choice of boots and a helpful knowledgeable team.
I bought these after trialling several different shell sizes. The team were very helpful and advised on the size I should buy. The boots are almost too nice to get dirty ☺️ they are so lovely and shiny. I opted for the black straps but am already choosing which coloured ones I want next. The boots come in a carry bag with extra screws and straps too. Very happy with my purchase.
Amazing service from Hoot Bootique who not only gave me correct sizing from the measurements sent in to them but also gave fabulous after care, advice and were so kind and supportive. Definitely will recommend. I went these these flex boots having never had hoof boots before and I’m so impressed they’re supple supportive and my mare seems super happy and comfortable in them. Very happy all round.
